2023-current Executive Officer - Len Lye Foundation (New Plymouth, NZ)

Supporting the Len Lye Foundation to achieve its strategic objectives and priorities in archiving, website development and administrative systems and processes. Working as an independent contractor based in Christchurch.

2022-2023 Researcher - Tongue Tied Films (Edinburgh, Scotland)

Archival research for early development of a New Zealand based feature documentary funded by the NZFC and Newcastle University, UK. 

2022-current Audio Archivist - Len Lye Centre/Govett-Brewster Art Gallery (New Plymouth, NZ)

Transcription of the Len Lye Foundation's Audio Collection to assist making this unique sound archive accessible to the public for research purposes and exhibition programming.

2021-2023 Producer - Porter Pictures  (Christchurch, NZ) Building Bridges: Bill Youren’s Visions of Peace (2022)

Independent New Zealand feature documentary Directed by John Chrisstoffels. Due for national release 7th Sept 2023.

2020/2021 External Examiner – University of Canterbury, School of Fine Arts (Christchurch, NZ)

End of year examiner: Fine Arts Honours students’ exegesis, workbooks and studio submissions.

2021 Archeology Assistant – Home Guard Heritage (Kaikōura, NZ)

April-May part-time work experience - assisting with surveying/documenting sites, cleaning/bagging/labeling of various archeological and carbon samples, and data report entry.

2016-2020 Client Access Liaison – Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision (Christchurch, NZ)

Facilitating client requests: research and cataloguing, database management (Vernon CMS), and co-ordinating supply of archival recordings to Iwi, GLAM sector institutions, broadcasters and the general public fromthe Radio NZ Sound Archive and NZ Film Archive Collections. Kaitiaki and Copyright clearances, Licencing Agreements and reconciliation of workplace wiki policy douments. Health & Safety committee member (4 years).

2009-2016 Audio Archivist - Radio NZ Sound Archives Ngā Taonga Kōrero (Christchurch, NZ)

Sound preservation to IASA standards and practices; sourcing, cleaning, digitising, cataloguing and re-housing of multiple audio formats, documents and ephemera. Project co-ordination and digitisation of the analogue disc collections of New Zealand’s pioneering  TANZA record label and the Mobile Unit Oral History series (selected for UNESCO's Memory of the World Register, 2014).
